Continuing Education

FLORIDA BAR – Summer School participants will have the opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education credits through the Florida Bar’s Designation Plan. The summer school has RECEIVED approval for 20 hours of general credit, plus an additional 5 credits for those attending the “early bird” discussion session “B” in the area of ethics (2.5 credits) and technology (2.5 credits).  Course number and details on receiving these credits will be listed in the conference program which will be distributed to attendees at the conference.

ENGINEERS – Florida Environmental Network, Inc. is an approved provider (0003339) of continuing education credits for registered engineers through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. Engineers can receive 20 PDHs by attending the Summer School program. Applicable forms will be available at the conference for those wishing to apply for credit and instructions will be listed in the conference program which will be distributed to attendees at the conference. In addition, the Board of Engineers requires 1 hour of credit for Board Laws and Rules and 1 hour of credit for Ethics. You can obtain the Board Laws and Rules and Ethics credit by attending Early Bird Session “A”.

LICENSED ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS – This course has qualified for continuing education (CE) credits through the International Society of Technical and Environmental Professionals, Inc. (INSTEP). Credits apply to those currently registered by this association. Participants will receive 1 CE credit for every actual hour of instruction. LEP’s may enter their credits on the LEP Center Section of the INSTEP website.

CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS – Certified Environmental Professionals qualify for continuing education credits by attending the Summer School.  Details on how to obtain your hours will be posted in the conference program which will be distributed to attendees at the conference.
