St. Johns River Water Management District scientists conducting routine monthly water sampling on July 13, 2015, observed an algal bloom at Crescent Lake and Dead Lake/Haw Creek. Samples were collected by the District and will be sent to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for species identification. [July 14, 2015]
