The St. Johns River Water Management District is conducting a 142-acre prescribed fire today at the Sunnyhill Restoration Area in Marion County. The fire is near the north parking lot along S.E. 182nd Avenue (Forest Road 8). The purpose of the burn is to reduce hazardous fuel loads. [March 3, 2015]
