Spartanburg 5 County School District Awarded $40,000 in EPA Rebates to Fund Cleaner School Buses (SC)

(12/11/15 – ATLANTA) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that Spartanburg 5 County School District in South Carolina is one of 85 school bus fleets in 35 states to receive rebates through EPA’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) funding. Nationally, EPA announced the award of more than $7 million in rebates to replace or retrofit 400 older diesel school buses
